TEND-X and IMS
While the IMS (Ion Mobility Spectrometry) equipment currently in use at some airports collects and analyzes the traces of explosives, TEND-X is a device that detects and warns of explosive nano-vapors in the air.
Therefore, TEND-X detects explosive materials in real time without the need for analysis time. Detection is simple and effcient, so passengers and luggage can be quickly searched in the airport, mines, IED detection outdoors, and people entering the security area.
Among the TEND-X series, TEND-X2 (Hybrid sensor explosive detector) was delivered to the ROK Army in December 2022 as a rapid pilot acquisitionproject
